Mechanical Engineer

As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be expected to improve the mechanical enclosures and integration with farm robotics and machinery. You will work closely with the optical and electronics team to provide a reliable and durable platform to deploy our sensor services across mounted, personal and integrated devices across multi-million-pound projects with various collaborators and clients, including many at the cutting edge of crop research.

In this role, you will be expected to design, model, prototype and optimise the design for manufacturing plastic and sheet metal mechanics/.  You will be expected to work with the manufacturer to inform product enhancements and assembly processes and maintain appropriate documentation and records. We expect you to have experience with computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing.

Electronics Engineer

As the Electronics Engineer you will facilitate the assembly, testing and maintenance of our products, working under the direction of experienced specialists in a unique opportunity for professional development and experience at the cutting edge of electro-mechanical development and crop research.

You will work under the technical team to support the practical prototyping elements, including sensor integration, PCB design and manufacture. We expect you to have some experience in practical development and workshop familiarization but expect the individual to develop into the role over time.

Software Engineer

As the Software Engineer, you will be expected to optimize the real-time machine vision systems algorithms. You will join the data workflow team which sits at the heart of the services across multi-million-pound projects with a range of collaborators and clients including many at the cutting edge of crop research. In this role, you will be expected to maintain the embedded Linux operating systems and the real-time C++ acquisition code. You will be responsible for the code repository and maintenance of environment containers for both local and cloud algorithms. You will be expected to work with the technical team to inform product enhancements and support the report generation so communicate the results to the relevant parties. We expect you to have experience with image processing and ideally three-dimensional data manipulation.
